Let me know when you get your "all things" season guide! All the XF novels are good. I think I would start with "Ground Zero", simply because it is the first one, but they all seem to take place during seasons four or five of "The X-Files" as a TV show.
One of the fun things, for me, about the novels is that they seem a bit shippier than the TV show. I don't mean that Mulder and Scully have sex or anything like that in the novels, but there seems to be at least on vaguely shippy incident (i.e. handholding or hugging) in each book, plus at least one conversation where they mention how much they mean to each other. In one of the books, they seemed to be sharing the same hotel room, although it was mentioned that there were two beds in it.
I wish they would do more novels. It seems to be that having Mulder/Scully XF novels would go a long ways toward placating the fans (such as myself) who are not happy about having the TV show continue without the original agents. And, of course, DD and GA are not necessary for the characters of Mulder and Scully to appear in novels.
