Well that's great if true. I do fear that the public has moved on and X-Files has been replaced by so many other shows and movies that only hard core fans will go guaranteeing that this will be the last thing we get (until they remake the whole concept in 20 years for the nostalgia wave). Even if it is a success, will DD & GA want to do more? They have their careers to think of & want to move on I'm sure.

It would be nice to give the show's story a resolution from the finale but we've all heard it's a stand alone. When is it happening? Before they go on the run or after? With the actors 5 years older, how could it be taking place before the end of season 7?
