I posted something about this on the OT board. I've watched a fair amount of TV in the past couple of weeks (more than I usually do) and also went to the movies once and. . .nothing. Haven't seen a single preview other than the one I deliberately sought out on the internet.
I think part of the problem is that they don't really know what audience to market this movie toward. Do they aim it at the people who were watching XF back in the 1990s who are now in their 30s and 40s? Or do they aim the previews at the teen and twentysomethings who are the usual core audience for summer sci-fi movies, but were in elementary school when the series was in its heyday?
