The effect wasn't lost here. The entire theater erupted into laughter. I think there were quite a few XFile fans there--at least a majority. The joke certainly wasn't lost on the MN crew.

When I told my hubby about it (even though he never watched too many XFiles episodes) he laughed just as hard as the rest of us at the film. He was quite familiar with the phrase "The truth is out there."

The Google thing didn't surprise me--I use it all the time for everything I want to look up on the net. Did you see that sheet of paper slip into her pile of stem cell research? I did but didn't know for sure just what that was. I am still not quite sure how she could have missed that or even printed it but then she was in a big hurry.

I guess one never knows with CC! Too bad about the dogs--was one really two headed? I didn't see a second one there in the snow after Mulder had to clobber the poor thing. I guess that happens when you blink.
