Subject: A show with some of the same elements as XF

If anyone is looking for a new show to watch (either because you have become, like me, somewhat disillusioned with XF or simply because you want something else to watch) that has a lot of the same elements as "The X-Files" (i.e. science-fiction, UST, the Fox network, an egomanical executive producer, etc.) you might want to check out "Dark Angel".
I've watched a few eps of this. It's pretty good. One thing I like about it is it has a much more diverse cast than XF. With the exception of Scully and a couple of relatively minor characters, everybody on XF — Mulder, Doggett, Skinner, all three Lone Gunmen, Krycek, CSM — is a white male. On "Dark Angel" the main characters are a white man and a Hispanic woman. The secondary characters include a white woman, a white man, a black woman, a black man and an Asian-American man.
I don't know about the rest of you, and it may be different in countries other than the U.S. (or maybe even in other parts of the U.S.) but where I live only about half the population is white and only half is male. This was my big beef with adding Doggett to the cast in Season 8. I felt like CC had a golden opportunity to make the show a little less formulaic by making the new agent another woman or a minority male and he blew it.
