Actually I have walked on a picket line many years ago and I do understand the emotions that these people feel. I also have to be sympathetic toward the individuals who need the weekly income because they haven't made it "big." What sickens me is that the quality of programming we may end up with is really going to go downhill. I read that we will be getting more game shows and the so called 'reality' shows. I don't care too much for either asw they are so contrived. I suppose the networks will find more sporting things to show also but I don't watch that sort of program either. I guess I will continue to watch PBS and look for Canadian and UK programming--at least the comedy shows are funny and the other shows are quite interesting!
