Subject: Saw David Duchovny at a Lakers game last Sunday

My hubby works for The Staples Center and one of the perks is we get free tickets to anything.

At the 4/22 game we sat directly behind Duchovny and during halftime, he saw me smile at him and said point blank.
"Before you ask, I'm not returning to the show. My time as Fox Mulder is no more. Its been a good run but its done. And please no is Mulder The Father questions"

And I said "Mr Duchovny, you did some wonderful work on the show and I know as an actor you wish to branch out, I just wanted to say thanks and that I'm looking forward to Evolution."

He was pleasantly surprised and signed an autograph.

My hubby asked if he would ever collaborate with Chris Carter again and he said no and he looked very uncomfortable.

So thats the brunt of it. He's not returning and I think we should all accept it.
Going back to lurk mode.
