I stand by original opinion, which is also the stand CC has taken in MOST of the articles and interviews about Doggett and the eighth season. (He's contradicted himself once or twice.)
Doggett is not a replacement for Mulder. Doggett is not Scully's new partner. Doggett is simply another F.B.I. Agent � like Skinner, Pendrell, Spender, Krycek, Fowl Thing, etc. � who has joined the cast of "The X-Files". He can be discussed on the Supporting Characters board.
I think Kenamom misunderstood you when you said the Mulder and Scully boards are dead. You meant the "Fox Mulder" and "Dana Scully" boards, right? Because the "Mulder and Scully" board � the one where we discuss the MSR � seems to have more posts than any of the other ones put together!
I assume it is more work for you to create and maintain so many new boards, Detoured. It's really your choice, but I agree that we don't need a separate one for Dogface. Since you're the one maintaining them, you definitely should not feel "pressured" to add a new board if you feel there's not a need for it.
