A spin off from Pokemon. They allow the card games at my sons school BUT they are only allowed to play with kids from there own age group. They have liitle areas set up around the school yard and they are monitored by the teachers. ITs nice because my worry was my little one would get taken advantage of by an older child. I bought Mak one set of cards last year, ($8.95!!!!!)and he played well because he came home with a lot more by the end of the year. I let him because he doesn't eat breath and talk Pokemon all the time. I was shopping for school clothes last week when they where putting up the display case for the Digimon cards. I had gotten some really good deals on things and was rather pleased with myself for keeping way under budget so I splurged and picked up a set for him. I asked how much and was expecting to hear around $10, but they had a deal on, if you spent more than $50 in clothes you got them for $3 a pack, I did and bought two packs.

He has a lot of other toys and stuff that was given to him. His friends are all into it but not a lot of wheeling and dealing going on. They like to pretend they are the pokemon charactors and play that way.

I don't want to be the MEAN mommy!
