Subject: Cast for David's new film, Evolution

Cast of ``Evolution´´ starts to take form
By Carl DiOrio
HOLLYWOOD (Variety) - Julianne Moore (``Hannibal,´´ ``Magnolia´´) and Orlando Jones are both in final negotiations to star in DreamWorks´ ``Evolution,´´ opposite David Duchovny.
Seann William Scott (``Road Trip´´) also recently inked a deal for another role in the Ivan Reitman comedy, and final details of Duchovny´s deal are being ironed out as well.
Reitman's DreamWorks-based Montecito Picture Co. will produce the picture, which revolves around what happens to a group of misfits when a meteor carrying alien organisms crashes in the New Mexico desert and threatens to take over the world.
It's been a busy year for Jones, who's coming off a starring role in the Warner Bros.' gridiron laffer, ``The Replacements´´ and who´ll be seen in Fox´s ``Bedazzled´´ and then topline the Disney comedy ``Double Take,´´ to be released in January. Jones will also co-star in the Farrelly Bros.-produced comedy ``Say It Isn´t So´´ set for a February release via Fox.
In addition to all that, Columbia Pictures is developing the comedy ``The Reverend Pimp Daddy,´´ based on a pitch from Jones.

Orlando Jones is that guy in those funny 7 Up Yours commercials. And Julianne Moore, I remember, was on Jay Leno once with DD. This sounds like its going to be straight out wacky comedy. "A group of misfits"? So is DD a nerdy College Professor? Whatcha think?
