Subject: Why I *WOULDN'T* like to be GA or DD

While I'm sure there would be many nice things about being GA (or DD, if you were a guy) such as good looks, bookoos of money, etc. I bet they get tired of constantly defending/explaining their relationship with each other to fans, journalists and the rest of the world.
I work part-time in a predominantly male office and I get along fine with all of my co-workers. They're a great group of guys and I couldn't imagine a nicer bunch of people to work with. But I certainly don't want to have an affair with any of them!! Quite frankly, I don't even want to see them outside the office.
This is, basically, the same attitude DD and GA have toward each other. They enjoy working with each other but have no sexual, or even social, interest in each other.
Why do so many people (not on these boards, thank God! but in countless magazine articles, posts on the official forum, etc.) insist on portraying them as either hating each other's guts or being secretly in love with each other?? Why can't people just accept that they are two people who work well together, and enjoy working with each other, but whose lives outside of work don't intersect?
