I have said all along I would not want a Mulderless season 8, and I still feel that way. However, what might work, IMO, would be perhaps if it was arranged by CSM for Mulder to "disappear", Krycek is assigned to Scully to "reign her in" much as she was to do to Mulder. Krycek over the span of a few episodes begins to see things from Scully's POV and gradually comes over to her side. However, neither Scully nor the audience would ever be completely sure of his loyalty. And he would still be somewhat of a loose cannon. A leapord doesn't change his spots easily. ;-) Eventually, they would have to find Mulder, played by David Duchovny, of course! But it might make for an interesting Mulderlite season 8, keeping DD on board, the MSR fairly intact, perhaps giving DD a chance to write and direct more too if he wants. And it would give Krycek fans more of him. Plus I think the interaction and between Scully and Krycek (non-romantic, of course, as I think M&S belong together, hee hee) would be an interesting dynamic.
