People have been complaining about the 'so so' stories that seem to be very frequent these days. I think XF has lost some of its edge so I think it is time to do some covering up of this loss and the best way to do that is through action. When you think of all those action packed movies, there isn't much of a story line nor much acting but people love them. So I reckon XF could get a new lease of life with a bit [not too much mind you. We don't want to cheapen the show] of action. You can get much more scariness out of action packed drama. You know a bit of cliff dangling or some weirdo suddenly pushing Scully over the edge of Niagra falls or something. Then Mulder could bungey jump over the edge to rescue her while she hangs by her teeth to a vine growing out the side. [Mind you I've never been to Niagra Falls, I'm just free wheeling here. ] But you get my drift.Hey isn't Niagra Falls supposed to be a big marriage promoting place? One there for Islandgirl, hee hee.

And there could be Blair Witch type woods with scary things oooing and arrring in them and things dropping out of the branches causing us to jump out of our seats and Mulder to change his undies. Hey yeah, why not a Blair Witch ep. I'm sure those kids who went missing are in Mulder's X Files.

So this is what I am saying. M[DD] and S[GA] would really get a kick out of some action in exotic places and we would get some excitment back into the show. Let's face it, watching M and S go from point A to point B 50 times per show saying their lines is a bit tired now especially since the writers can't think of many more ways to make this scenario scary , mysterious or interesting. Well they are barely doing it but they won't be able to do it for another season. I reckon they'd have at least two more seasons left in them if they'd get out of their rut. XF was creepy once and the slower pace suited it because it gave us things to think about and a mystery to try and solve. But now it's lost its creep and so this is why I think a change of tack is in order.
