...that Scully thinks she actually exerts power over Mulder? We all know how much she means to him, a fact that I know you have exploited on several occassions. But does she really have power over him? I think not.
Mulder will believe and follow anything anyone tells him if it will possibly bring him closer to the truth (despite my "the truth the truth there is no truth" speech). How else can you explain the fact that, despite all I have done, he has never killed me? He has had plenty of opportunity, and God knows he talks about it often enough. But he knows that I am close to the truth that he seeks so desperately.
Agent Scully, do you honestly think that your "power" over Mulder can keep him from us? We hold the answer to his holy grail. You, my dear, are just along for the ride.
