...I've read several people talking about Mulder progressing the relationship with Scully, but I don't see how this will really affect it. Will he suddenly have less on his mind so he can focus more on Scully? I don't really see the connection.
And, I also think that should Mulder and Scully ever get together, it would never be "normal". There would never be picket fences or the suburbs for these two, despite Scully's Dreamland wish of a "normal" life.
Basically, just because he knows what happened to his sister, he'll still believe in werewolves and el chupacabra and jersey devils, and he'll still be very wrapped up in himself and his work.
