I enjoyed "The Dark Wind". Of course, I like the Hillerman books; I don't know how the movie would come across to someone who'd never read any of the novels.
I've always liked LDP. I remember seeing him in "La Bamba" years ago and I watched his recent, shortlived TV show, "Wolf Lake".
