Subject: Rumors that never materialized

Yeah, there was also a rumor about an ep that Mulder and Scully were going to be trapped in a snowstorm/cave/abandonded building/something and "admit their feelings for each other". . .I always had my doubts about that one, as it sounded a little too shippy-fanficky to be true. But "Vices" seemed more like spoilers for an actual upcoming ep; don't know why it was never filmed. It would have *HAD* to have been a better ep than "Hungry" or "Fight Club" (generally regarded as the two worst eps of season seven).
One thing I noticed over the years was that CC always straddled the line on the MSR. Rumors that were either ultra-shippy or very noromoish always turned out to be untrue. For instance, prior to the beginning of season six there were a *LOT* of rumors saying that we were going to find out that Mulder had been married (or, in the worst-case scenario still *was* married) to Fowl Thing, but that never happened. They'd been lovers for a brief time, but that was apparently about it. I don't think she even mattered all that much for him.
