Subject: I liked Detour, but...

One thing about it bothered me. Now, I may not have ALL of my facts right since I haven't seen it in awhile, but didn't they manage to kill one of those creatures? What happened to it? They just left it there? Scully always wants proof, and here they have this dead 'moth man' or whatever he is, and they just leave him in the forest? I think it would have been much more effective if, instead of showing those glowing eyes at they end, they had shown Scully autopsy-ing the body or something, it would have made more sense.

Other than that, I really liked the episode. I loved the contrast between M&S and the other FBI partners. I loved Scully singing "Joy to the World" (I also love the bit of continuity in the future when we see Scully singing the same song to William), I loved the scenery, I loved Mulder's blue jacket.
