I wondered about the Navy thing too but maybe Skinner knew the right people in intelligence and perhaps her brother wouldn't help too much. He never did approve of her involvement with Mulder and if he knew that it was for Mulder, he might not have been willing to help even his sister.

Perhaps the British Sailors just didn't trust Mulder's story and thought he was a Nazi spy as that was how they were treating him. Perhaps these particular Brits didn't really know what the FBI was? Maybe they didn't read newspapers, paperback novels or listen to the news? I suspect that if they had televisions, they would certainly know what the FBI was!

I really like Triangle--it is definitely in the top 10 for me too. The kiss, the "I love you" and just the physical contact between M and S was just so romantic. I loved the special effects!
As for the 60 year thing--maybe Langly can't add or subtract very well?!
