The only problem for Joann was that she still had to take Morris's body which wasn't anything like Mulder's! She was willing to try to reconcile but obviously knew that Morris had quite a roving eye. Poor Scully had to take the brunt of her wrath and hate. I was surprised that Joann cared about Morris enough to call Scully a home-wrecker. When she threw his stuff outside, I supposed that she just wanted to get rid of Morris.

As for Scully, I agree--maybe she was too surprised by the odd behavior of the phony Mulder and just wanted to see if it was for real and if it was going to continue. Mulder had never made any real strong passes a her before--at least like the one's Morris was making and maybe she just wanted to find out just what was going on. I think it was the sunflower seeds that convinced her beyond a doubt.

I ws glad that Morris decided to come clean and let Scully and Mulder be together--he obviously got the message loud and strong from Scully that she didn't want to have anything to do with him. At least Morris accepted that fact--a gun and handcuffs should be pretty convincing! I think he just gave up and decided to try to go back home--better than nothing(?)
