was that it really seemed an actual relationship (not just necessarily a romantic relationship; *any* kind of deep, long-term relationship. . .platonic friendship, siblings, parent/child, whatever) in that neither of the partners was a "saint".
They were *mostly* supportive of each other, but they also each did things that hurt the other one sometimes. That's what happens in real life. No matter how much two people love each other, they're not going to agree on every issue and there will be times when each of them acts like a jerk.
