On one hand, it really was a depressing episode, and I didn't like the girl who played Kristen. On the other hand, the episode was really indicative of just how much Scully had come to mean to Mulder in really a relatively short period of time. The tone of the episode was so desperate and lonely that it did a good job of capturing Mulder's mood. It's just not the type of episode you can watch many times.

I keep wanting to comment on all of these episodes and respond, but I want to watch them first for a refresher. Maybe by the time IG returns from vacation I'll have a lot of posts for her to read!
