Subject: What was the name of. . .

Mulder's old boss, the one who went insane at the end of "Grotesque"??
There were actually two guys who were referred to, at various times, as Mulder's "former boss" from his pre-XF days. One was a black man named Reggie Purdue, who was introduced (and killed off) in season one. There was also this guy from "Grotesque" (white and middle-aged. . .I can picture him, just can't remember his name).
I never did quite figure out if they had both been his direct supervisor at various times or if Reggie was his immediate supervisor and the "Grotesque" guy was above Reggie, kinda like Skinner is always the direct supervisor of whatever agents are working the X-Files, but Kersh is above him.
