Finally saw this one on FX. I think the confrontation with Crew Cut Man should have been an ep onto itself. Mulder wanting revenge for Deep Throat and Scully getting concerned.

This one starts like a one-off ep and then surprises you that it ties into the mytharc. The cult was silly and a total red herring. That wierdness of the kids being found with writing on them was cooler than the solution. Who is being told "He is One"?

Still, love the M & S interaction. Mulder defends the cult kid from the townies was good. Scully actual calls the cow hormone shots "extraterrestrial" which seemed odd to me as I thought she wasn't believeing in that back then.

All in all, not bad but should have been 2 different eps. I give it ***.
