My absolute number one beef with this show is that we didn't have more episodes of this type where Mulder was involved in his profiling. After all he had a reputation as one of the best profilers in the FBI, didn't he? I really wanted to see more crime type stories with Mulder and Scully (who also worked out profiles--she did Tooms) dealing with c reepy criminals and investigating their crimes, more of the thought process. In the atter years it all just turned into paranormal monsters and they just kept trying to gross us out with gore.
