I liked having them break up the "dark" eps as long as they didn't go too overboard. The early seasons had great ones, especially as they were in a dark humor mode. Humbug, Jose Chung, Bad Blood, a few others I can't remeber. But then S6 came along and gave us way too many humor eps. That annoyed me. The Unnatural was good but i have to say the Rain King might just be my least favorite XF ever. Victoria Jackson and her whining was not funny. It came after too many "funny" eps. I thought Dreamland dragged out too long and why have DD look like himself as Fletcher and vise-versa instead of having DD play himself with Fletcher's personality? That might have been much more funny.
