To me, the beginning and ending scenes of "all things" indicated *QUITE* clearly that Mulder and Scully had crossed the line into a sexual/romantic relationship. I was amazed that so many people could see a scene where Scully was in Mulder's bathroom zipping up her skirt, and where Mulder was lying in bed apparently naked (definitely bare-chested and bare-legged, at least!) and then come to the conclusion that they *didn't* make love with each other!!
But people did. I guess I'm just a smutaholic who would have liked to have seen a *little* bit more. . .not necessarily something out of "Sex and the City" but maybe a discussion about "how crossing this final line will change our relationship forever" or seeing them both say "I love you" or simply seeing them lying together, *under* the covers, in the same bed.
