to that question we had here awhile back about episodes we liked that aren't very popular. This one just makes me smile. All the banter between M&S is so good and Mulder looks so cute all scruffed up as well as in his whte tshirt.

But beyond the superficial ;-) we got a good dose of Mulder's character and his fascination with strange paranormal things. Instead of being merely frightened by them, like the jersey woman, he's awed by them. There's a classic Sci Fi movie called "Them" where a group of people in an "Ice"like environment (in fact "Ice" borrowed from it liberrally) are trying to destroy an alien creature but one scientist doesn't want it destroyed, but perserved so it can be studied. That's so Mulder.

And I agree IG, in the beginning it wasn't exctly jealousy, Mulder was just so happy to have Scully share in his adventures with him. He couldn't understand her wanting to do anything else. He had been lonely and was now used to her always being there.

I'm not sure what I think of the plaid jacket Scully has on in the above photo.
