This was an okay ep. For some reason it didn't really "grab" me the way most of the season one eps I've been rewatching have.
One thing I think is cute -- and as a shipper I'm sure I would have picked up on this if I were an original viewer --is Mulder's continuing efforts to try to get Scully to "play" with him. (NO!! Not like that!! Get your minds out of the gutter!!) In "Jersey Devil" he wanted her to go to casinos with him; in this ep he was apparently taking her to visit the Liberty Bell. It's like his attitude is: "Okay, I've finally found someone to wander around the country with me, hunting aliens and mutants and investigating paranormal phenomena. In return, I'll make an attempt to occasionally do 'normal' things that she might enjoy."
