This is one of my all-time favorite eps. It combines all that I loved about the first seven seasons of XF. . .some scariness, some humor, Mulder and Scully off "alone together" investigating something weird, a hint of mutual sexual attraction between our heroes. . .everything!
Okay, bdm, I'm gathering from your comments that you thought the other two agents were romantically involved? I didn't get that impression at all (and I'm usually a person who will notice even the tiniest hint of attraction/involvement between two TV characters). I just thought they were a nice contrast to Mulder and Scully because they were so by-the-book. I would have liked to see them show up again occasionally, maybe once or twice a season, but they never did.
Also, bdm, you and I must be roughly the same age. One of the things I've always enjoyed about XF is that I can relate, agewise, to the characters.
