we got more money but we're not so easily swayed. Teens are, so think advertizers. And teens now have more money and mobility than ever before.

I grew up with my mom still at home, guess I was the last one like that. I also have parents who love each other and didn't divorce. I felt like the only one in that situation too. Anyway, I did watch lots of TV as a kid but that was when there were only a dozen channels. I did get out and play. And when high school and college came around, TV was out of my mind. I didn't own one for several years during my college years and after I had no cable for several years, just bunny ears.

Now, I've become more addicted to TV than ever before. I sort of needed it to unwind after work, especially when I lived alone and had no one to talk to. I have my wife now but I do find myself arranging my schedule around TV shows (gasp!). I'm gald shows get cancelled, I can do something else with my life!

I'm not for censorship at all. I do worry about what kids see but I remember seeing sexual content back in the 70s. I had that Farrah poster. My parents often watched with me and told me about sex and the ways of the world. I remember my mom forbidding me to watch Benny Hill, which made me want to watch it even more!
