I don't know if they respected him or were just humoring him. He seemed to be able to take control of a situation
and be in charge of other agents but he was made fun of.
Maybe they listened to him because they respected Scully.

I liked this episode too even though it was awfully weird. And we got pre-Krycek Nick Lea!

Btw, sorry I haven't been putting up corresponding episode pictures but the site where I get them has been down for a long while and I don't know of another site that has good pctures of all the episodes.
