Subject: Clyde Bruckmann - world weary soothsayer

Stardoe - a great ep - Clyde Bruckmann.

Mulder is causing bad vibes when the Stupendous Yappi comes to assess the crime scene and Scully tells him "I can't take you anywhere". LOL!

I always thought that CB said what he said to Mulder about M's method of death in order to freak M out. Remember that Mulder seemed to hang on CB's every word. Even when Clyde failed miserably to get any clues from the objects he was given. There were far more failures in his clairvoyance than successes and he was so tired of Mulder holding him up as some sort of expert that I reckon he snapped. It was a huge joke at Mulder's expense, accusing him of a perverted sex related death - a way to put Mulder in his place and shut him up. And it worked! (for a time!)
