i watched this the other day....i was in a christmassy mood...plus my brother wanted to watch some XF and this is his favourite.

i understood that some people didn't like the pop pyschology but i thought just for the look on their faces, it was worth it. and mulder's face when she's picking out the books from the bookshelf - DD was fantastic. also when mulder asks scully 'when *have* you proved me wrong?' reminded me of when we used to try and list all those sorts of things on the old forums. and the present giving at the end is really sweet - i thought this episode may have been lighthearted but it was such a perfect christmas story.

anyway, talking of ghosts, my flat is supposed to be haunted. i live in university accommodation and whenever i tell anyone in the college i live in flat# they get all nervous and scared round me! well we met the girls who lived in our flat last year. apparently one came out of the bathroom one day and saw about 10 ghosts in our hallway. which actually is very long, dark and creepy. then someone else felt a 'presence' in another room, and the cleaner saw a ghost as well. personally i don't know what to make of it. i've never seen anything and i kinda refuse to feel scared in my own flat. since as i have to live there. but although i was away at the time, at halloween, my flatmates all slept in the one room - they didn't want to sleep alone that night!! come to think of it, we have had a few funny incidents. doors have been opening of their own accord, handle moving and all.......

i'll keep you posted, in case i see anything!
