I liked it for that but also the black and white style. It was a nice change and added to the story in that it gave a certain surreal feel to the whole thing. The music [not the Cher stuff] also added to this feel. Like it really only was a story and that Mulder *could* talk to the writer and change it if he wanted.

I also liked the reference to Cher and her movie about the deformed boy. I really like this movie and I guess the relations to that added to the way I feel about this ep.

I guess I like PMP for the same reasons I like Triangle. A nice change, an ok story [it doesn't take much to entertain me] and of course one major shippy moment.
