Maybe she does want Mulder but is hung up in a the separation of job and personal life rthetoric. So she goes after dangerous men knowing she's safe from possibly falling in love with any of them becvause they are so far from having potential as a serious relationship. If she wants Mulder she won't look for a nice decent guy because if things started worked out she'd have to admit to herself what she realy wants.

I don't think she wants a run of the mill ordinary guy either. We saw that in The Jersey evil. But she avoids any guy who could potentially turn into something serious because what she really wants is Mulder. And he's not ordinary. He's nice and a gentleman but he's also off center.

LOL I only thought of this because of your post so you are unintentonaly inspiring a shipper point of view! I'm not even sure if Scully feels this way. I was discussing with someone recently that I think Mulder is in love with her but I'm still not sure if Scully returns those feelings.

nd I agree that having either of them fall in love with and marry or become committed to someone else would be wrong after all this time and an insult to all fans.
