the first scene of Alpha? Scully is almost dripping with sexuality here as she talks about the dog bites. He is just hanging off every word she utters, happy in the fact that he has roped her in once more. I think this particular office scene sets the scene for the rest of the show with Scully's territorial actions over the dog woman. At the beginning she is so content with her relationship with Mulder, she drips sex appeal, her speech is almost seductive, she even acts like his "wife" when they first begin the investigation with comments like "He'll go on forever" and " He doesn't listen and chews the furniture." Until dog woman turned up they were really on the mark with eachother. I really like this ep and I can't help thinking that at the end Scully was actually regretful yet relieved that dog woman met her end.
