Subject: Three Grown Men

I thought 'Three of a Kind' was quite a bit similar to the last LG ep ‘Unusual Suspects’ especially the boys lurking in hotel rooms with tech-y equipment. One notable scene was the very out of control Scully, whose laughter was so wild, I began to think Gillian was really experiencing hysteria! I think the dialogue between Byers, Langley and Frohike is always entertaining and all credit to them for holding their own. Frohike was coming across as very much a fatherly type, comforting Byers over Suzanne. It was nice to see that, because they are always shown as very on top of things and self-contained. They bicker but they don’t usually ‘emote’. This laid down a good foundation for their own spin off. I can imagine them surveilling and computer hacking on a grand scale, in the style of Mission Impossible. (Actually, I bet Detoured prefers Frohike to Tom Cruise!) They have well defined characters now so their own show should be entertaining. I haven’t got much to add to my write-up. It was OK (better than Agua Mala, anyday of the week, and it didn’t even have Mulder in it!!!)
