Isn't Field Trip the second to last episode of the season? Are you guys that close to the end already? How long will you have to wait for Season Seven?

I really liked this episode, on many levels. One of my favorite things about it was the fact that for once I didn't know what was going on. It seems like in a majority of the S6 episodes (at least in my distorted memory) either the X file was spelled out for us in the beginning, it was so obvious it was embarassing to the writers, or it was just impossible to figure out because it was so stupid (think Agua Mala). I remember being confused to the point of total frustration in Mulder's funeral scene. I was yelling at the TV "What is going on? What in the hell is going on?" It was great!!

I liked the banter between Mulder and Scully at the beginning, though as soon as Mulder said that he was right like 99.9% of the time I knew that it was going to be a scientific answer this time. I told Mulder that too. I love talking to the television. My roommates love it too ;-P

I liked that in this episode it was a Scully-like explanation in that it was biological, but that Mulder figured it out they were still in the hallucination. I think when I first saw it I didn't like that fact because Mulder always figures everything out despite the fact that Scully herself is brilliant. But upon second viewing I thought it was a nice touch.
