I love that picture!

I'm enjoying the baseball history lesson, by the way. It's very anti-Yankee, which I support fully! I hate those Yanks!!! It's even easier to hate them when my favorite team plays in the same division as them. Every time the Orioles play the Yankees all of the obnoxious Yankee fans drive right down I-95 and fill up Oriole Park. It's terrible!!

The Yankees have such a rich history that it's unfortunate that I have to hate them as much as I do. Lou Gerhig is one of my favorites, as far as Yankees go. He was a real class act, and he only retired when he got too sick to play any more. I learned a lot about him back in 1995 when Cal Ripken broke his consecutive games played streak. Cal is a future legend, dev, so file him away for a future trivia question! He played in 2632 consecutive games.

So Yanks is a term for all Americans over there? I'll try not to be too insulted, as when I think of Yankees I certainly don't think of myself! I think of all those northeasterners with those funny accents. DitchedRedhead, she's a yankee!
