I seem to remember this list from right at the end of S6 when I asked you to give me an idea in vague terms what your faves were so I could look out for them. The only one I can't get onto the same wavelength about is 'How the Ghosts Stole Christmas' which I found strange and the more I think about it, the more strange I find it. It reminded me in atmosphere of a film I really disliked 'The Witches of Eastwick' and for some reason, the stage-y setting disturbed me. I suppose as it was an XF, it *was* meant to disturb as well as entertain but I couldn't shake the feeling throughout that there was something I didn't like. Do you know what that could have been? (I have thought about this quite a bit and I think it was all those mock shootings and 'Mulder' and 'Scully' actually raising guns against each other - and their bizarre crawl through the hall!!) I only liked the bit in the car at the beginning and the present giving scene at the end - actually, I *really* liked those two scenes. There was a lot to talk about, where Scully's choices about spending Christmas were concerned!

One thing I have never done -and find it hard to do - is to make comparisons between whole Seasons. I might have to try that exercise. I know there are goods and bads and averages in each but I am not sure I *can* put one whole year up against another. They are so variable.
