You're absolutely right, Det, how *am* I going to deal with Season 8????? The good thing for me, though, is that next I will be dealing with Season 7 :-) so I can put my worries on hold for a while.

But while we're on the subject, I do have a deep down fear that the series' heart may be lost if it is no longer fully a Mulder and Scully enterprise. Scully and Doggett doesn't have the same ring to it. For the sake of fairness, I will watch S8 (eventually) with an open mind, but somehow I can imagine even now people harking back to the hay days of Season 1 with nostalgia. I shouldn't be negative, I know but I hate the idea of something I love maybe being spoilt. Here's hoping that isn't what happens.

Oooh, yes, a serious ep would have been tons better for a married undercover job. They missed an opportunity for a 'conversation on the rock' about marriage, at the very least!
