He's being given all kinds of nicknames like Dog Guts, Dog Breath, you name it. The poor guy hasn't even appeared in one episode yet! As you said, it's not his fault. How would an x-phile feel if they got to costar on the show?

I don't really look on Scully and Doggett as a team and
I don't think Scully will either. It might be more like when Krycek was tagging after Mulder in the beginning.

I'm really surprised you've heard of Doggett the baseball announcer!
