So you say they did make references to Scully's cancer in other eps? I'll have to check the ep guide to see where. All I remember is in the next couple eps after Memento Morihey completely ignored any mention of her cancer. I thought maybe there might have b een a subtle refereence in one but then I found out it was filmed before MM anyway so it didn't matter. They did bring it up in Tempus Fugit/Max. I think that's when it first came up agsin. I guess that's considered mythology. But you're right, Elegy was a biggie and thinking now I guess it was surprising that they talked about her illness then.
At least they were following through to some extent! That's one reason I absolutely love the first few episodes in Season 2. All those eps wherew M&S were of the X-files and apart but still connected. They all fit together.

I think the uncertainty about Season 8 affcted everyone during season 7. In recent interviews I've read, things were so indefinate that they didn't even know where to go exactly with the storylines. And unfortunately it looks like we will go through the same thing all over again this year since there is talk about a season 9. But once again, its still up in the air! Argh!

Doggett and the Fowley syndrome? You mean the fact that the fans hated her? Well that's already happening with Doggett over on the Fox boards. they are treating him terribly! I think he could prove to be a very interesting addition!

I LOVE Paper Hearts too! One of my favorites. And Small Potatoes was so funny...F...B...I...
