Cvl and det, you both asked why I felt uncomfortable watching Milagro. Actually I kind of liked it first, and it was one of the 6th season episodes I was looking forward to and expecting it to be good, but the outcome was like the opposite of the Monday-experience, which I explained in the above post.

I even made notes while watching the episodes, which I was going to refer to, but I left them at home, so maybe I'll get back to them later. So, I both liked and disliked the episode. I've heard that other people who haven't liked it, have blamed it on the non-charismatic guy as Padgett (or whatshisname) who Scully is supposed to be drawn to. I don't know, I think he's okay. If he was dashingly handsome he wouldn't be as credible, don't you think? And Scully being out of character.... Yes, I guess she was, but we don't really learn what she feels like in this episode, since her actions are described by Padgett, who makes her sound like a heroine from a sick romance novel.

Maybe I'm feeling uncomfortable about Milagro, because Scully herself said she was feeling uncomfortable around Padgett. I could almost sense it. But at the same she still kept spending time with him, the guy is creepy , a stalker and a suspect in a murder case, you'd think she'd stay as far away from him as possible! But I don't know if that made her so out-of-character. We don't know all about her. What is it with her and her attraction to "dangerous" men, I'm thinking about the Never Again episode here. I liked that one though, and Ed Jerse was much nicer than Padgett.

Well, that's at least something. I'll get back to this once I sort out my notes.

Cookie monster.
