Seems to me I remember not liking the second part of Dreamland as much either. But I grew to enjoy it as a whole and it has that great 'sunflower seeds' scene in it. The tone changed between the first and second parts with part one being more light hearted and part two being more serious when Mulder realized the depth of his predicament. But all of the 'it didn't happen' eps in Season 6 got to be a bit too much after a while. I did like Mulder and Scully's conversation at the end of DII. Even though they didn't remember they seemed to realize something had occured or maybe was almost lost betweeen them. They seemed more freiendly on the phone. And I liked the waterbed tie in with Scully not knowing about it in Monday.

Xena did that concept too? I guess its a popular one. Almost like reworking Shakespeare for modern stories. It gets done a lot but if you finds a new way to tell it it can be a good story.
