By that I mean - it is nice sometimes to go and see a film where an actor you don't know well impresses you and you feel as if you yourself had discovered him or her. On the other hand, actors you always like are no guarantee of the quality of a film, I agree. It is more like - ah - I see Kevin Spacey is in that film - I like watching KS so I might go and see what his latest project is like. I also like Kevin Bacon (who has been in tons of films, not of all them good) and I think that a couple of hours checking out someone whose performances I normally like must be better than chancing it on unknowns. However, unknowns have to start somewhere. And if their name is Kevin, so much the better! ;-)

How was 'What Lies Beneath' anyway, Det? Scarey?
