Oh!! I loved the part when Scully slapped the guy who’d been roughing up the prostitute. I was watching and did a complete double take at that part - I couldn’t believe that she’d just clipped him round the ear like that. Very funny moment. Followed by a very sick moment. Unfortunately, sometimes those special effect scenes just make me laugh... and this was one of those occasions. I know I shouldn’t be doing it, but something about it just seemed so... artificial.

Also, the Tithonus thing, is, I think, a reference to a poem by Tennyson. Or Byron. One of those old, dead poets, anyway. LOL oooh, how educated do I sound? It's a poem about immortality anyway. I think. :D Can you tell why I didn't go into academia as my profession?

ITA about the lovely little handshake at the end. But then, that's no surprise, you know where I stand if Mulder's hands are anywhere to view in a scene...

Lucky Scully! ;o)
