Hmm... Surgery and tests... That *is* the whole point, isn't it?!

ITA with what you said about Cassandra, she's not a clone. At least, we haven't got much reason to believe the 'current' Cassandra is not the original one. The Gregor's (etc.), on the onther hand, were cloned from aliens, but as I recall they were 'hybridized' (is that a word?) clones. They also had human DNA. So, what I was thinking when I asked my questions, was "They've made hybrids before, what's the difference? Is it harder to make a hybrid from a human, than it is to make a hybrid from an alien?"

The answer is probably no, but I think it *is* much harder to hybridize an entire being than it is to hybridize a single cell, or a fetus. In the case of the clones you'd only have to hybridize a limited number of cells, but to 'save' your loved ones, as the syndicate intended, you'd need to be able to change entire human beings. That's a whole different story, and a plausible explanation for the question why Cassandra is called The One. I can't believe I didn't realize that before!

I'm still wondering about the green blood though. All the clones and 'human' hybrids are supposed to have oilian DNA, right? Why then don't they have more similarities to the oilians? Why are they more like that other race, the rebel aliens. And why does the bounty hunter have so many similarities to the rebels? Are they all the same race, just different stages? And did some of them not agree with the rest? Could that be the explanation? Or was my initial assumption about the oilian DNA wrong?

So many questions...

Mat
