I just want to try and keep track of what happened when so I don't spill any beans!

I think Krycek was sent along to help Spender now that I think about it. CSM really had little faith in him to be able to do the job. He looks at him like this big disappointment in his life. I'm getting a memory of another TV show or movie that had a similar theme but I can't think of what it is right now. Maybe slight shades of The Godfather? Spender as Michael Corleone, the good son who didn't want to be involved in the family business. But in that I think his father accepted him for what he was.

They didn't protect themelves from the green blood in thisd? I'm so confused about that blood. When is it toxic and when is it not? Just wait til you see another ep later on in Season 6 and you'll be even more confused! Or maybe you can sort it all out for the rest of us.

Leave it to a normoro to come up with an alternative to the basketball scene! Here we all pretty much agreed Mulder was checking Scully out and this is part of his now seeing her as a woman and not just as a partner and you go and come up with a different idea! I never thought of that angle. Nah, I'll stick with the first thought. He was liking what he saw for his own self! And you gotta admit he wanted to impress hr in front of the guys with that last shot!

Yes I think we can draw comparison between the shooting scenes. We can see by Mulder's hesitation and the look in his eyes that this isn't an easy task for him. Shooting someone never is whereas with CSM he's famous for getting rid of whomever he thinks needs disposing of without a thought.

So how can we compare Spender to Mulder? Would Spender hae been able to spike that guy? Was he going to do it easily and he just goofed it up or was it something he didn't want to do? Veronica Cartwright got nominated twice for this role, if I'm not mistaken.

I'm glad you can see Mulder's POV on Fowley. After all, she was a part of his life and if he didn't trust her to some extent it would be like he was doubting his own abilities to be able to judge a person's character. I think he's supposed to be very good at reading peopel so it's hard to hear Scully tell him bad things about a woman he once was very involved with.

I thought Mulder was in it enough. Well..'s never enough Mulder but I don't mind so much in the myth eps because I enjoy seing all the players so scenes with CSM, Krycek, etc. can be very interesting too. When there's a lot of story to tell I like seeing all the characters so Mulder can't be everywhere. The eps that are light on Mulder that I don't like are the MOTW ones that have too many scens with the guest characters I don't carew much about like Terms of Endearment with the devil and his wife. Something like that. But when we've got the CSM, Krycek and the Gumnmen and all that sneakyness it's all good!

I liked seeing Scully and the Gunmen conferring in this. I like to think this goes along with my request on the old proxicom boards that I natd to se Sculy and the Gunmen together. First I got my wish with Triangle and now Scully and the Gunmen are kind of buddy buddy in these myth eps and they are taking her side over Mulder! Quite a change from the old days when she thought they were just Mulder's weird, paranoid friends. :-o)
